Hahaha..Clever! I really like this cartoon.. strikes a note with me and someone I know very well. He is toiling away so hard, others would have crashed and burned long ago..shows true strength of character.

It looks like I may be about to purchase a new Pashley Roadster Sovereign. I would like to continue supporting British Cycle Manufacturing and i’m hoping it should last me a while as it too will end up travelling a few times around the world i’m sure of that!!!

R.I.P Little Bess… Dear David, what a shame it is that you are no longer riding around London and the south coast on the trusty steed. I am amazed at how many miles you have done on the machine, I didn’t think it was possible to have a bike for so long and it still be in perfect working order. It just goes to show how well the british bikes are put together to withstand the UK climate and conditions.

I hope you are able to use your contacts and get another Bike to replace her. I can’t believe you have a Raleigh Dynatech road bike too, what a classic…

I will be very glad to help with any advice you might need on choosing a new bike, if in the meantime you do find yourself astride a new Brompton then please let me know…

I couldn’t agree more about switching to online billing, I did this at the start of the year. I also moved 6 months ago and I had a clear out of all bank statements and phone bills, surprisingly this filled up the entire paper recycling bin at home… So although good to recycle if you don’t have the paper bills in the first place you won’t have to go through the process of destroying confidential info before recycling, plus it also keeps the post-man/lady happy…

Today is the day the financial world was offered help worth an incredible £288 for every man, woman and child on Earth… yet it will only help less than 5% of the worlds population!

More has to be done to assist those in need and to treat climate change in the same way… we need look at the wisdom of seeking a return to the days of easy credit, which fuelled an unstable boom and a lack of respective the very thing we need for survival.. this world, one world..
